I'm totally agree. In The Smiths there was something marvellous, and even kind of magical in both music and lyrics. I am aware the fact that the music part is mostly about Johnny Marr, but no one can say that lyrics and overall sensation that makes music important and touching hadn't changed.(I hope you can understand my ridiculously long sentences, English is not my native language.)
